ABC在提交独占罚款下宣布开发诗选剧《民权运动里的女子 Women of the Movement》剧集由Marissa Jo Cerar负责执笔Jay-Z﹑Will Smith及Aaron Kaplan的多家制片公司联合制作                                                                    《民权运动里的女子》首季改编自Devery S. Anderson所写的《Emmett Till: The Murder That Shocked the World and Propelled the Civil Rights Movement》讲述Mamie Till儿子Emmett Till在1955年时被杀后她用了毕身精力为儿子寻求正义并引爆了黑人民权运动
